So I had to call my pharmacist last week, and had roughly the following conversation with their AI phone bot:
AI: "What can I help you with today?"
Me: "I need to speak with a pharmacist."
AI: "Okay, but I can help with most things."
Me: "No you can't."
AI: "I'm sorry, I don't understand. What can I help you with today?"
Me: "I need. to speak. to a pharmacist."
AI: "Okay, but I--"
Me: "P H A R M A C I S T 🤬"
I hung up and called back and somehow I managed to get through to a person on the second try but good lord. It's fucking exhausting and for what? What was wrong with the old phone trees? They worked just fine! Ugh.
