More Doll Stuff (Seriously I May Have A Problem)

I've spent the last week or two mostly looking at doll stuff and making mental wishlists.
I don't have a problem you have a problem.
First and foremost I've been making friends in an American Girl discord server and everyone's been so fun to talk with! :D With their help I've narrowed down what doll I want for my custom mini-me to Marie-Grace. So I'm looking for a thrashed-but-not-too-thrashed one too redo. She'll get new eyes and a new wig (I already know who I'll probably send her head to for both services since I'm scared of damaging her or getting the wig wonky).
That aside, I've also discovered the coolest goddamn doll trunk in the known universe. I love this thing; it's solid wood, has a murphy bed and an inbuilt vanity with mirror and a little stool, a space for doll clothes to hang and a space to actually store a doll of choice to carry. There's three drawers to hold accessories too!
I just have to have one. I have got to find a way to get one. I think when I get my credit card paid down that'll maybe be my reward. It comes in a really nice cherry wood and a really awful purply-blue color. I can work with either but I'd rather the cherry one. But the thing is just stupidly cute and I'd love to "remodel" one to have a more retro-modern look. Maybe with Courtney's (the 80's doll) rainbow bedding to match my real bedding, lol.
In other news, I also discovered the Canadian answer to American Girl, Maplelea! Also a very cute line with super cute accessories and playsets. The shipping cost and potential customs surprise of importing them gives me pause. But I really really want their paleontology set! It's precious! And the little outfit it comes with! Aaa!
I don't need it quite as bad as I need that trunk but omg. I love it so. ❤️❤️❤️

I don't need to start collecting dolls from other brands (these are Target's "Our Generation" brand) but oh my god these girls are cute. 😭 I'd love to get them just for the outfits! I could always donate the dolls themselves to a thrift store so some kid could get 'em for cheap. Idk. 🤔 But I'd love to have the outfits for my 'doll closet' even if I don't have the room for collecting the dolls too.
So yeah. I'm deep down the doll rabbit hole. It's got me bad.
I can't remember if I mentioned in my last post but I even got a little American Girl denim vest that I'm customizing to look like my real Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series punk-inspired "battle vest" for my eventual mini-me doll. And it's coming along fabulously if I do say so myself! 😁 Although I am at a standstill waiting for the patch I'm using for the "big" back patch on the vest. Dingus seller still hasn't shipped the damned thing and it's been days. 🤬🤬🤬
But soon. Soon I shall finish it and be able to show it to the world and I'm so excited about it.
I mean I'll be more excited when I have a whole doll to show off but I gotta try to be patient for that. I almost won a really good price on a perfect Marie-Grace doll (perfect for my project I mean, not in condition) but alas, I was outbid at the last second. Bummer.
I think that's all my doll babble for the time being. 😆
