Sicker Than I Thought

So remember how I posted that I was like super sick from my covid and flu shots a couple weeks ago? Had a fever that wouldn't quit, and generally felt miserable?
Turns out I had an infection. Like a bad one. Like hospitalized for a week and urgent surgery kind of infected. Without going into too much detail, it is/was cellulitis, which can be caused by all sorts of things like ingrown hairs or just a little cut, et cetera; it's basically an infection of opportunity I guess.
I'm on the mend now; recovering from the surgery is going to take a while and it's unpleasant but it's a lot better than how sick I was. More than anything I miss taking proper showers--I can't currently because of the bandaging and the wound vacuum I have attached. The vacuum promotes healing but is a huge hassle and I can't wait to be rid of the thing.
Anyway like I said, I'm okay now, or I will be, but this is why there was pretty much radio silence from me for a couple weeks there. Hopefully I'll get back to updating stuff soon! :)
