😅 Oops.
So the second-hand Marie-Grace I bought has arrived; she's gonna need a good cleaning and restringing but it's not horrendous or anything. Like her paint seems okay and everything appears to be intact, but she's got some ink transfer from her clothes. She is in a pretty ugly non-AG dress at the moment though that I'm looking forward to changing for something cuter. The restringing kit arrived today so I may start on her tomorrow. 🤔
In other news... Our Generation's precious little witch dolls went on sale, and on top of that I had a 20% off coupon, which took the price for one from about $35 to about $20. I. yeah I had to. 🙃 I got Selene, the darker skinned one with the orange and black colors. Guilty purchase for sure, but oh my god I adore her, she's SO cute. I need to fix up her hair as the packaging was not very kind to it, but overall. She's just a really pretty doll. Not a great photo and I haven't fixed her hair yet, but here she is!
I'm also looking forward to getting her other Halloween-themed clothes to wear, too! Her meet dress is cute but I would very much like to dress her up in other outfits now and again. Plus I gotta take the current outfit off to wash it in a solution to set the dye so it doesn't transfer to her skin, anyway.
Good lord, I had a smoked salmon omelette this afternoon for 'breakfast', which was good, but I've been burping smoked salmon all freaking day and it's so unpleasant. Send help. 🥴
Anyway, I haven't yet made it back to Michael's. Oh well. I am trying to get to Five Below though; they have seed beads that'll be perfect for making doll bracelets to match mine for my mini-me, and way cheaper than elsewhere. They also have the Harvest-themed Tootsie Rolls I've been seeking for several years now, so it'd be nice to grab a bag of those too.
Might see if Roommate is at all willing to run me by there tomorrow while she's running errands. 🤔 Update: Nevermind, Roommate is still ill and plans to cancel tomorrow's errands. Rip. Maybe another day.
